Primary Function
Installation & Repair
Install, service, and repair industrial door systems including:
Sectional doors
Rolling steel doors
Fire-rated doors
High-speed doors
Fabric doors
Troubleshooting & Diagnostics
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues, including:
Broken torsion springs
Frayed or damaged cables
Faulty rollers and tracks
Malfunctioning motor operators and control systems
Preventative Maintenance
Perform routine inspections and maintenance
Lubricate moving components
Adjust door tension and alignment
Ensure systems meet OSHA safety standards
Technical Skills
Proficient with hand and power tools
Ability to operate welding equipment
Read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams
Basic knowledge of:
Low-voltage electrical wiring
Motor controls
Hydraulic systems
Supervisory Responsibilities

Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
AAADM (American Association of Automatic Door Manufacturers) certification preferred
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 safety training
Strong problem-solving skills
High attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the commercial door industry
Must be eligible to work in the United States
Must have or be able to obtain and maintain an active Defense Bio-Metric Identification (DBIDS) Badge, which requires a favorable Federal, State, and local background check
Working Environment
A fast-paced multi-tasking customer service-oriented environment requiring a high degree of efficient and effective performance. Adaptability regarding schedule and task changes is necessary to accommodate changing priorities. Work performed in all weather conditions.
