Job Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne - 4 Days in the Office

If you are interested in working in this kind of innovative environment and you’re a motivated SDET Engineer, then we have an excellent role based in our Newcastle office, predominantly supporting our Viewpoint suite of products.
Working in a UK based team of five but being part of a larger team of twenty-one, you will ideally have between two-five years experience working across multiple products.
What You Will Do:
Collaborates with the QA Team and other departments to achieve project goals
Performs moderately complex functional, application, regression and performance tests
Modification of existing automated tests as required by product changes
API Testing
Designs, develops, implements, creates and maintains the automation infrastructure that can be leveraged by other staff within an agile work environment
Provide standard metrics and results from all testing efforts
Logging issues found in the defect tracking system
Use of AI to assist in day to day development
Essential Skills & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Automation testing
Demonstrated testing skills and understanding of QA processes
Coding experience in C# or Java programming language
API testing experience
Working experience with test automation methodologies and tools (Selenium - Must have) and other testing tools/frameworks like BDD, Gherkin, Cucumber are preferred.
Basic troubleshooting and debugging skills
Experience working in an Agile Development Environment, ideally with experience working with a distributed team
Desirable Skills & Experience:
Familiarity with AWS
Experience of AI adoption into test frameworks
Experience of working within a Global Organization would be an advantage
Knowledge of the JIRA/Azure DevOps would be an advantage.
This position will report directly to the EMEA QA Manager
