As a Senior Business System Administrator within our Operations team, you will serve as the strategic and technical leader driving the optimization, governance, and continuous improvement of our ERP ecosystem. You will ensure our internal ERP platform (currently Deltek Vision with an active migration to Vantagepoint) effectively supports business goals, enhances workflow efficiency, and strengthens cross-departmental alignment. This role partners closely with executives, finance, marketing/BD, project managers, and other operational stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable ERP solutions. 

 This role needs a combination of technical expertise, collaboration, communication, leadership, and business acumen to deliver value to our internal teams and support the growth and operational excellence of the firm.

 What you’ll do at SN: 

  • Serve as the primary administrator for our ERP platform, including configuration, user management, security, workflows, customizations, and overall system governance (including occasional evenings/weekends as needed). 
  • Develop and execute strategies to maximize ROI through process improvements, system enhancements, and integrations. 
  • Partner closely with executives, finance, marketing/BD, and project managers to gather requirements, translate needs into system solutions, and ensure smooth adoption across teams. 
  • Provide hands-on training, documentation, and end-user support to promote best practices and effective use of Vision/Vantagepoint. 
  • Design, build, and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and analytics to drive data-based decision-making. 
  • Monitor system performance, manage updates, conduct data integrity audits, ensure security compliance, and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime. 
  • Lead ERP-related projects and integrations, collaborating with IT and external vendors when needed. 
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by assessing new ERP features, recommending enhancements, and evaluating business impact. 

 What you may have done before 

  • Led or administered Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint environments 
  • Managed ERP upgrades, conversions, or major integration 
  • Worked directly with executive stakeholders to support reporting, compliance, and cross-functional processes 

 What it takes to be a Senior Business System Administrator: 

  • 10+ years of proven experience administering and optimizing Deltek Vision and/or Vantagepoint ERP systems 
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across executive, finance, marketing/BD, and project management teams 
  • Exceptional communication abilities, including translating technical concepts into business language 
  • Proficiency with SQL, BI/reporting tools, advanced Excel, and Microsoft Office 
  • Understanding of compliance standards related to finance, data security, and project management (e.g., GAAP, data privacy requirements) 

Preferred Skills 

  • Experience with organizational change management 
  • Strong project management capability 
  • Familiarity with data warehouse environments and Power BI 
  • Strong analytical and metric-driven decision-making approach

Salary: The salary range for this position is an estimate of $140,000 - $160,000. A final compensation offer within this range will be based on factors including an individual’s skill sets, experience, knowledge, licensure and certifications, and geography.
