About your team
The technology service team provides IT services to the Fidelity International business, globally. These include the development and support of business applications that underpin our revenue, operational, compliance, finance, legal, and marketing and customer service functions.
About your role
As a Scrum Master, you will be responsible for facilitating Agile practices within the team, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and ensure smooth day to day delivery activities are carried out by following processes defined by the project team.This role acts as a servant leader, coach, and facilitator to help the team achieve its goals while adhering to Agile principles.
About you
Working with software team that is running in rapid delivery mode, being able to contribute in below area:
• Organize and lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Identify and assist team resolve blockers that hinder team progress.
• Promote Agile best practices and guide the team toward self-organization and accountability.
• Work closely with Product Owners and stakeholders to ensure clarity on priorities and deliverables.
• Track and communicate team performance metrics (velocity, burndown charts, etc.) to improve predictability.
• Encourage innovation and process improvements within the team.
• Maintain adherence to organizational standards and governance frameworks.
Qualifications Required:
• 5+ years as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile role.
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and software development lifecycle.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or similar Agile project management tools
• Background in software development or technical delivery.
• Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
• Good business English skill is required, reading, writing, listening, speaking
• Excellent facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification preferred.
• Familiarity with Business Analysis and System Analysis is a plus.
2nd shift is expected based on project requirement (Canada project, 1:00 PM -10:00 PM, not everyday shift, depends on project arrangement)
