Scrum Master (CONTRACT) REMOTE

Broadridge is Growing. We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support multiple high‑visibility projects in a fast‑paced, highly innovative environment. In this role, you will be a servant leader and agile coach, enabling cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality solutions at speed while navigating complex integrations between Tax Services and the Broadridge Integrated Platform.

The ideal candidate is passionate about Agile principles, thrives in ambiguity, and has a proven ability to manage multiple workstreams, remove impediments, and foster collaboration across product, engineering, architecture, and business stakeholders. You will play a critical role in driving transparency, continuous improvement, and predictable delivery while supporting Broadridge’s broader transformation and growth objectives.

Work-Mode: This is a remote role where you will work off-site. Travel is limited and generally used for team learning and collaboration meetings.  

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring their effectiveness and adherence to Agile principles.
  • Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and other Scrum Masters to prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Utilize Jira to track team progress, manage sprint backlog, and report on key metrics to stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify and resolve impediments, removing blockers that hinder the team's progress and productivity.
  • Champion Agile best practices, including continuous integration, automated testing, shift-left mindset, and incremental delivery, to optimize the development process and enhance product quality.
  • Lead release management activities, coordinating with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth and timely deployment of releases.
  • Implement modern SDLC processes, including change and incident management, to maintain the stability and reliability of production systems.

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferably computer science or similar)
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in a software development environment.
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean principles.
  • Strong understanding of modern SDLC processes and tools, with experience in release management and change/incident management.  Experience with Ticket creation, escalation, and SDLC management processes
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Highly energetic and self-motivated, with a passion for driving continuous improvement and fostering a positive team culture.
  • Proficiency with Jira, custom filtering, and extensive reporting.  Knowledge of Confluence or collaborating tools is desirable

Nice to have:

  • Exposure to teams working with client-facing SaaS products
  • Understanding of IT processes and challenges
  • Prior experience as a BA, PM, Developer or a QA.

Hourly range $50-70/hr
