Program Management Advisor – Scrum Master
Role Overview
The Program Management Advisor – Scrum Master plays a critical role in enabling the successful delivery of business and technology solutions within the health insurance domain, with a strong preference for experience supporting medical claims operations, payment integrity programs, and related healthcare administrative processes, including pre-pay and post-pay review, recovery initiatives, and claim workflow optimization. This role supports AAPS initiatives focused on improving claims accuracy, reducing waste and fraud, and modernizing end-to-end payment integrity workflows through automation and technology-enabled solutions. Initiatives often span multiple teams, systems, and stakeholders and require coordination across business, technology, and vendor partners.
The Scrum Master partners closely with Product Managers, Product Owners, business subject matter experts (SMEs), and technical delivery teams to translate complex regulatory, operational, and business requirements into scalable, technology-enabled solutions. Work is primarily aligned to automation, technology modernization, and software development efforts that support payment integrity and claim-processing programs.
This role acts as both a servant leader and agile coach while also flexing into broader program and project management responsibilities as needed. It requires proactive ownership of delivery health, cross-team coordination, risk and dependency management, and stakeholder communication across one or more teams.
