SCM Application Specialist

Your Role:

  • Create dashboards, visualizations, infographics and stories to deliver data in a useful and appealing way to users to facilitate understanding and help business leaders gain meaningful insight. 

  • Support business improvement initiatives through reviewing, downloading, cleaning, transforming and modelling data with the goal of discovering useful information, suggesting conclusions, supporting proposals and decisions to be made.

  • Making large and/or complex data more accessible, understandable and usable by transforming, improving and integrating data, depending on the business requirements and combining the data result sets across multiple sources.

  • Support Supply Chain Management in suggesting reporting improvements and process re-design.

  • Support process improvements by introducing automated workflows using automation tools.

  • Will take part in complete Business Intelligence and Analytics journey within CS EMEA Chain  – from creation of central data warehouse with all data from multiple ERPs, definition and creation of reports in data visualization tool and close cooperation with the users of the reports, how it can support their needs in strategic sourcing initiatives.

  • Support Category Buyers with DSPA, DMF, & Icertis process flow.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree/MSc: Computer Science, Mathematics, Management Information Systems or similar discipline

  • Very good English and strong VBA skills

  • Strong SQL  - subqueries, aggregations, functions, triggers, Indexes, DB optimization, creating/understanding relational data base models

  • 4 years relevant work experience

  • Highly proficient using data visualization tools (Tableau/ QlikSense/SAP Lumira) – can connect to data sources (Excel, CSV, SQL, Teradata) (R) – Certification in Tableau would be a distinct advantage.

  • ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) process – can create full ETL process which will extract data from different sources, transform and load the data to destination DB (R). Experience in any of the following is desirable (Alteryx, Informatica, SSIS). Certification in Alteryx would be a distinct advantage.

  • Python/Java programming skills will be an asset

  • Statistical methods and data modelling knowledge

  • Experience working with Business Objects, Teradata or other Data warehouse

  • SAP knowledge or any other prior exposure to any ERP system

  • Understand Procure to Pay business process

  • Knowledge of Agile Development Methodology
