Scientist – Method Validation

We are looking for a Scientist to join our Method Validation QC team in Slough. In this role, you will support Biochemistry and BioAssay activities, contribute to method validation and transfer, and help ensure compliance with GMP and regulatory standards. You will work closely with colleagues across the QC function and play a key role in maintaining high analytical standards within the laboratory.

What you will do:
Conduct biochemical testing to support release, stability, validation and method transfer activities.
Review assay data against approved procedures and GMP requirements.
Prepare protocols, study reports, SOPs and related documentation.
Train colleagues to promote best practice and support skill development.
Identify atypical trends, interpret results and support investigations.
Raise, manage and contribute to quality records, including deviations, CAPAs and change controls.
Support the introduction and validation of new analytical methods and technologies.
What we are looking for:
Experience with protein analytics or biochemistry techniques such as electrophoresis, ELISA or HPLC.
Understanding of analytical method validation aligned to ICH guidelines.
Knowledge of GMP and regulatory expectations in a QC environment.
Ability to prepare scientific documentation and present data clearly.
Strong collaboration skills and an openness to learning from others.
A proactive approach to problem‑solving and continuous improvement.
A degree in a relevant scientific field or equivalent laboratory experience. (Derived from standard requirements)
