What you’ll do:
Provide support in non-GMP bioanalytical testing within DPS Development Bio-Analytics to meet our customer’s needs
Execute potency assays for method implementation pre-validation, and sample testing with binding or functional assays.
Document assay performance following Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and ensure flawless execution, flagging relevant observations for further assessment
Review and approve basic operational tasks performed and detailed by peer analysts, such as buffer preparation and calibration of pH meters or balances
Contribute to investigations and troubleshooting for methods and lab equipment issues.
Adhere to 6S principles and internal standards for practical work performance and documentation to ensure audit readiness, supporting onsite customer visits
Coordinate maintenance/requalification of lab equipment as Instrument Responsible Person (IRP) and support drafting/updating of instrument SOPs
Participate in laboratory operational optimization and process improvement initiatives.
Train peers on relevant methods and instrument usage, and onboard new analysts
Adhere strictly to applicable Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) regulations
What we’re looking for:
Analytical lab technician, Bachelor and/or Master degree in Biology, Biotechnology, or other Life Science related fields (PhD or equivalent experience not required)
Experience as a research/technical assistant in the pharmaceutical or chemical industry, preferably in analytics
Comprehensive understanding of cGMP rules and requirements
Proficiency in various cellular and biochemical methodologies such as mammalian cell culture, ligand-binding assays (ELISA, HTRF, ECL), surface plasmon resonance, and flow cytometry
Ability to report, interpret, and detail scientific results using electronic systems
Eagerness to learn and carry out new and complex tasks
Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment including strong communication and interpersonal skills
A proactive attitude and good knowledge of written and spoken English
