About the Role

The School Liaison Support Officer plays a crucial role in supporting the adoption and effective use of the My Mind Check platform through strong partnerships with schools and engagement with internal and external stakeholders.

 

The role delivers high-quality operational support, including onboarding, training, communications, back-of-house events coordination and administrative support, to enable consistent implementation, continuous improvement and positive school and stakeholder experience.

 

The Voluntary Mental Health Check Tool (VMHCT) Project is dedicated to supporting the mental health and well-being of school students through a digital assessment tool. The project collaborates with experts, educational departments, and various stakeholders to ensure the tool meets the needs of Australian schools. The "My Mind Check" tool helps schools identify students at risk and provides recommendations for care.

 

About You

You will have relevant qualifications (such as a diploma or Bachelor’s degree in communications, education or psychology) and/ or equivalent experience in customer service, preferably in education, health or mental health sectors, with a strong customer service focus.

 

You will have the ability to work and communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.

 

Your excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills will be critical to effectively engage with school staff as will your computer and database management skills.

Required:

  • Relevant qualification such as a diploma or bachelor’s degree in communications, education or psychology, or related field.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively engaging with school staff.

  • Demonstrated time management and organisational skills, including the ability to meet service-level agreements (SLAs).

  • Proactive mindset and strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively with other teams.

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).

  • A willingness to be flexible in the support of a small team environment.

 

Desired:

  • Previous experience in the education sector an advantage.
