Position Overview
The cinema Scheduler plays a crucial role to ensure all operational areas have an achievable, balanced portion of work per shift.
Sitting between client teams and operations, the cinema scheduling team is the internal go-to for production queries relating to capacity, resource, and prioritization of tasks.
The Scheduling team collectively oversee and have ownership of project timelines from start to finish.
We maintain a project-based forecast to assist in our planning and preparation of all operational teams’ resource and capacity. We continuously learn & recognize client trends to efficiently build out accurate plans of action.
Primary Responsibilities
Schedule work to deliver content as per client delivery requirements.
Manage the prioritization of operational queues, facilitating the production process to ensure client deadlines are met and operational teams are working within capacity.
In coordination with the QC (Quality Control) Department, monitor QC theatre bookings.
Maintenance of theatrical and marketing forecasts.
Provision of various reports as per business requirements.
Attend and facilitate client team and operational meetings relating to existing and new projects.
Build a rapport with all internal departments and establish excellent working relationships.
Provide support for all teams globally.
Raise any capacity/operational/forecasting concerns with Scheduling Manager for remediation.
Helping the Account Teams to keep project(s) on a specific timeline for completion.
Creation of Work Orders in Deluxe’s proprietary workflow systems
Communicating with clients for the Account Team when required
Other duties as assigned by direct supervisor
Qualifications
All candidates must have an understanding of the Digital Cinema Packaging workflow, as well as a basic knowledge of the DI (Digital Intermediate) workflow. The Cinema Schedulers must be good communicators, well organized, work well in a team environment, and can facilitate multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. They must be flexible to work whatever shift is available including nights and weekends as well as work overtime as required by the business needs.

This role is based in Burbank, California and the base pay range for this role is $24.04 - $26.44 per hour. Actual amounts will vary depending on education, skills, experience, and geographic location.
