Are you ready to put your experience to work at Northrop Grumman?  If so, we want you to join our team as a Warehouse Specialist.  This full-time position is located in Green Cove Springs, Florida.

You will become part of Northrop Grumman's P-3 Customs and Border Protection Program.

In this role, you will:

· Handle all applicable logistics functions for the operations, to include transferring, ordering, packing, shipping, and receiving DoD and commercial material

Task Requirements:

  • Perform duties as a Warehouse Specialist in support of Customs Border Protection P-3 Aircraft

  • Prepare required documentation for warehouse operations

  • Construct shipping containers

  • Conduct inventories, stock forecasting, stock replenishment, shipping, receiving

  • Perform computer input functions on the AMFAMS asset management system

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

  • Maintain all sensitive data information in accordance with government and company policy

  • Coordinate with outlining operating sites and maintenance departments to ensure movement of parts and materials.

  • Construct shipping containers

  • Climb up and down ladders

  • Maintain cleanliness to assigned workspaces

  • Ability to multi-task various assignments in a timely manner

  • Ensure safety, security, and preservation of government and company owned equipment.

  • Have a current driver’s license

  • Ability to operate warehouse machinery, forklifts, pallet jacks, compressors and utilize hand tools

Basic Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years working directly in supply chain and / or logistics roles; an additional 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of the degree requirement

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Excellent communication, problem solving and organizational skills

  • Experience with hazardous shipping and handling

  • Comply with established general and industrial safety rules.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Homeland Security Background Investigation

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge or familiarization with P-3 type aircraft

  • Current DOD Secret level security clearance

  • Forklift Certified

  • Experience in inventory analysis, material forecasting and transportation management

  • A current security clearance (Secret or higher)

  • A current DHS background investigation

Primary Level Salary Range: $25.00 - $30.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
