Based in Geleen, you will lead the supply chain planning and inventory team that supports the smooth flow of materials across the site. This role offers the chance to strengthen planning processes, support operational reliability and guide a team focused on quality, accuracy and continuous improvement.

What you will do

  • Lead and coach the planning team to ensure timely and accurate material availability.
  • Manage site inventory, including long-term projections and decisions on adjustments or scrap.
  • Address supplier issues such as pricing, delivery challenges and invoice discrepancies.
  • Drive improvements in supplier performance, planning accuracy and inventory processes.
  • Support onboarding of new suppliers and raw materials.
  • Execute monthly reporting tasks, including billing, expiry checks and data uploads.
  • Work closely with schedulers, buyers and MRP to keep planning information up to date.

What we are looking for

  • Experience in supply chain, materials planning or logistics in a structured or regulated environment.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to support and guide a team.
  • Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships.
  • Analytical and organized, comfortable working with KPIs and problem-solving.
  • Experience with SAP and MS Office (particularly Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Proactive, reliable and open to learning and improving processes.
  • CPIM certification or willingness to obtain it.
