Job Summary
This role leads enterprise presales engagements by helping customers translate business challenges into effective technology solutions. The position works closely with sales teams and enterprise customers to understand requirements, design solution architectures, and demonstrate how proposed technologies address customer needs. The role delivers technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts that support strategic opportunities and drive customer confidence. This position also builds trusted relationships with technical and business stakeholders while mentoring junior team members and contributing to complex customer engagements.
Responsibilities
- Engage with enterprise customers to understand their business objectives, technical environments, and operational challenges during presales engagements.
- Translate customer requirements into solution architectures that align technology capabilities with business goals.
- Deliver compelling technical presentations, architecture discussions, and product demonstrations to technical and executive stakeholders.
- Design and lead proof-of-concepts (POCs) and technical validations that demonstrate solution feasibility and business value.
- Collaborate closely with sales teams on opportunity qualification, technical strategy, and customer engagement plans.
- Provide technical guidance and solution design support during RFP and proposal processes.
- Position endpoint and digital workplace solutions that improve productivity, security, and device lifecycle management.
- Identify potential technical risks early in the presales phase and propose mitigation strategies.
- Facilitate technical discovery sessions and innovation workshops with customers to explore new approaches to workplace and infrastructure challenges.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customer IT teams and leadership by providing expertise on modern device management, cloud integration, and enterprise infrastructure.
- Work with internal engineering, product, and delivery teams to ensure proposed architectures are aligned with product capabilities and implementation feasibility.
- Mentor junior technical team members and share presales best practices, technical insights, and customer engagement strategies.
Education & Experience Recommended
- Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Typically 7–10 years of experience in technical presales, consultative selling, enterprise architecture, or solution consulting.
