Job description:

As a Satellite Ground Segment Deployment Responsible (d/m/f) for space ground segments, you will be part of a team based in Friedrichshafen supporting our integrated nation space mission project teams. Beside these operational activities, you will contribute to our transformation plan that has the vision to become national champion for high-performance Ground-Space Mission Solutions.

Tasks:

You will be in charge of the following main activities:

• Responsible for design and integration of (cloud) infrastructure and applications for ground segments
• Coordination of software infrastructure components
• Implementation of ground segment subsystems
• Support proposals and new technologies (e.g. AI) for neo ground segments

Required skills:

You have the experience and the following skills:

• Degree in computer science or comparable

• Experience with software development/engineering (Agile development, Linux-Environments, DevOps, Cloud platform like Kubernetes)
• Infrastructure design and integration
• Experience with Kubernetes platforms (like Rancher or OpenShift) would be a plus
• Good communication and team skills
• Fluency in German & English

Als Satellite Ground Segment Deployment Responsible (d/m/w) für Raumfahrt-Bodensegmente werden Sie Teil eines Teams in Friedrichshafen sein, das unsere Projektteams für integrierte nationale Raumfahrtmissionen unterstützt. Neben diesen operativen Tätigkeiten werden Sie zu unserem Transformationsplan beitragen, der die Vision hat, nationaler Champion für hochleistungsfähige Boden-Raumfahrt-Missionslösungen zu werden.

Aufgaben:

Sie sind für die folgenden Haupttätigkeiten zuständig:

• Verantwortlich für das Design und Integration von Bodensegment (Cloud-) Infrastruktur und Anwendungen
• Koordinierung von Software-Infrastrukturkomponenten
• Entwicklung von Bodensegment-Subsystemen
• Unterstützung bei der Erstellung von Angeboten und neuen Technologien (z.B. KI) von zukünftigen Bodensegmenten

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten:

Sie verfügen über Erfahrung und die folgenden Fähigkeiten:

• Abgeschlossenes Studium der Informatik oder vergleichbar
• Mehrjährige Erfahrung in der Softwareentwicklung (Agile Entwicklung, Linux-Umgebungen, DevOps, Cloud-Plattform wie Kubernetes)
• Infrastruktur Design und Integration
• Erfahrung mit Kubernetes Plattformen (z.B. Rancher oder OpenShift) wäre ein Plus
• Gute Kommunikations- und Teamfähigkeiten
• Fließend in Deutsch & Englisch
