Hiring: SAP PS Specialist

We’re looking for a SAP PS Specialist join us at Telia!

I am Darshanjeet Singh Sachdeva, Hiring Manager, and I am leading SAP Finance Solutions team at Telia Group IT. I am looking forward to strengthening our SAP team to help us out with all the exciting work we do!

This role is responsible for supporting day-to-day operations and delivering minor enhancements for Nordic countries within SAP Project System (PS), with a primary focus on network construction and capital project processes.

​​The role requires close collaboration with Network Construction business stakeholders, Product Owners, SAP functional and technical teams and external partners, as well as coordination with the IT Service Manager.

What you’ll do:

  • Provide day-to-day operational support for SAP PS, focusing on network construction and capital projects.​
  • Monitor and support critical processes, including WBS structures, networks, confirmations.​
  • Take ownership of PS related incidents (minor, major, and critical), ensuring resolution in line with agreed OLAs; perform root cause analysis and documentation.​
  • Deliver minor enhancements and configuration changes within SAP PS in collaboration with business stakeholders.​
  • Support testing activities (UT, SIT, UAT) related to PS changes and participate in go-live and hypercare support.​
  • Maintain documentation, operational procedures and user guidance, contribute to continuous improvement
  • Operate according to ITIL practices, SAP change management standards, and agile delivery frameworks (e.g., SAFe), using tools such as ServiceNow and JIRA.​

What will help you thrive in this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).​
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with SAP Project System
  • Experience supporting SAP PS operations, including incident handling and end-user support.​
  • Exposure to SAP PS configuration and integration with FI/CO and MM.​
  • Knowledge in SAP MM will be an added advantage
  • Familiarity with SAP transport and change management processes.​
  • Familiarity with ITIL-based support models and service management processes.​
  • Experience with JIRA, ServiceNow, or similar ticketing tools is a plus.​
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).​
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a business-oriented mindset.​
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with construction, maintenance, finance, and technical stakeholders.​
  • Flexibility to support business-critical incidents outside regular working hours when necessary.​

Monthly salary range for this position –4300-6400 Eur (gross) + annual performance bonuses. Although it may vary depending on your skills and experience.
