Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced SAP PLMSI Lead Consultant with deep expertise in manufacturing processes and Siemens Teamcenter integration. The role focuses on the design, implementation, and assurance of SAP PLM Service Integration (PLMSI) to enable a robust digital thread from engineering design through manufacturing execution.
This is a hands-on senior consulting role, responsible for PLMSI solution design, Teamcenter integration, and data governance across regulated manufacturing environments (e.g. Aerospace, Defence, Industrial Engineering). This is not a generic SAP CPI/BTP integration position and requires proven experience with Teamcenter integration tooling (T4S/T4EA or equivalent).

Due to the nature of our clients’ work, we can only consider candidates who are eligible to obtain SC Clearance. This requires having been a UK resident for at least the past five years.
You will be working from home with occasional attendance at client meetings, as required. Also we would require flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or bank holidays on an adhoc basis, where project needs demand it.
What You’ll Be Doing
PLMSI Solution Design & Delivery
• Lead the design and implementation of SAP PLMSI to support engineering-to-manufacturing workflows.
• Configure PLMSI for BOM synchronisation, material master creation, document management, and production handover.
• Design and implement engineering change management (ECR/ECN) processes integrated between SAP and Teamcenter.
• Act as design authority for PLM–ERP integration decisions.
Teamcenter Integration & Data Management
• Deliver bi-directional integration between SAP (ECC or S/4HANA) and Siemens Teamcenter.
• Implement and support integrations using T4S / T4EA or equivalent Teamcenter connectors.
• Ensure accurate synchronisation of CAD data, BOM structures, material data, and documents.
• Validate data consistency and resolve integration issues.
Manufacturing & Digital Thread Enablement
• Work with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to align PLM integration with production processes.
• Support digital thread initiatives and end-to-end product traceability.
• Align PLMSI solutions with SAP MM, PP, and QM.
Governance, Support & Documentation
• Provide 3rd-line support during hypercare and BAU transition.
• Produce functional specifications, integration designs, and runbooks.
• Deliver training for engineering and manufacturing users.
What We’re Looking For:
Technical Expertise
Strong hands-on experience with SAP PLM and PLMSI components.
Proven experience integrating SAP with Siemens Teamcenter, using tools such as T4S / T4EA or equivalent.
Experience with SAP ECC or S/4HANA, particularly manufacturing-related modules (MM, PP, QM).
Functional Knowledge
Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, BOM management, and engineering change control.
Familiarity with CAD data management and document control concepts.
Experience
Proven experience delivering and supporting SAP PLM / PLMSI solutions.
Demonstrated success working on SAP–Teamcenter integration projects.
Soft Skills
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
Analytical mindset with a proactive, problem-solving approach.
Comfortable working collaboratively across technical and business teams.
Nice to Have
SAP PLM / PLMSI certification.
Aerospace, Defence, Automotive, or Industrial Manufacturing experience.
