• This role is responsible for delivering large-scale, complex internal projects, which often span multiple regions, and involve significant risk, ensuring adherence to established standards and protocols. The role includes effective management of project finances, maintenance of relationships with upper-level stakeholders, and overseeing a project team of over 20 individuals from diverse countries. The role fosters skill development, contributes to the refinement of project management practices, and promotes a culture of delivery excellence within the program management department.

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic, business‑savvy Tools Project Manager / Business Owner to lead strategic initiatives that drive operational excellence, business transformation, and end‑to‑end process maturity across our global service ecosystem. This role requires a blend of tool ownership discipline, project delivery rigor, and a strong business mindset to ensure successful execution of high‑impact transformation programs.

The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with hands‑on leadership, guiding cross‑functional teams to deliver measurable business outcomes that advance HP’s transformation agenda.

Key Responsibilities

Business Ownership

  • Define and maintain the product/initiative vision, roadmap, and business outcomes in alignment with organizational strategy.
  • Translate strategic goals into clear execution plans, prioritizing features and capabilities based on customer value, operational impact, and stakeholder input.
  • Lead governance, risk assessment, and executive reporting to ensure transparency and alignment.

Project Leadership

  • Oversee end‑to‑end delivery of complex, multi‑workstream transformation programs.
  • Drive cross‑functional collaboration across Services, Sales Operations, Finance, IT, and other stakeholder groups.
  • Ensure program milestones, dependencies, and KPIs are clearly defined, tracked, and delivered on time.

Business Value & Process Excellence

  • Develop business cases, define performance metrics, and track benefits realization.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize processes, enhance customer/partner experiences, and reduce operational friction.
  • Champion standardization, automation, and scalability across regions and business units.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for senior leaders, operational teams, and technical stakeholders.
  • Facilitate decision‑making, manage expectations, and communicate program priorities with clarity and confidence.
  • Lead workshops, steering committees, and working groups to ensure broad adoption and alignment.

Change Management & Enablement

  • Shape and execute change‑management strategies to drive adoption of new processes and capabilities.
  • Partner with training, communications, and field organizations to ensure readiness and smooth implementation.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to business teams as new solutions and ways of working are introduced.

Qualifications

Required

  • 8+ years of experience in Project Management, Product Ownership, Transformation, or related roles.
  • Proven track record leading cross‑functional programs in complex, global environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities with a data‑driven mindset.
  • Excellent communication, executive‑level presentation, and stakeholder‑management skills.
  • Ability to translate business needs into structured requirements and workable solutions.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and program governance frameworks.
  • Experience in large-scale transformation initiatives within technology or services organizations.
  • Knowledge of process re‑engineering, operational optimization, or customer experience design.
  • Familiarity with enterprise systems.
