DESCRIPTION

Join Thermo Fisher Scientific, the world leader in serving science. As a SAP Business Analyst, you will play a key role in bridging business needs with technology solutions, supporting our mission and driving operational excellence.

In this role, you will partner with stakeholders across the global organization to analyze business processes, gather and document requirements, and support the implementation of SAP-based solutions. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will identify opportunities, translate business needs into actionable requirements, and contribute to the successful delivery of high-impact projects.

You will be involved across the full project lifecycle from requirements gathering through implementation while building strong relationships with both business partners and technical teams.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Advanced Degree plus 3 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of experience in business analysis, with demonstrated ability to lead complex projects

  • Preferred Fields of Study: Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in SAP implementations (ECC 6.0 or S/4 HANA)

  • Knowledge of SAP modules (SD, MM, QM, PP, or FICO)

  • SAP data upload capability using LSMW / Winshuttle

  • Strong expertise in requirements gathering, documentation, and process mapping

  • Familiarity with ChatGPT for process automation and AI-driven solutions

  • Experience with data analysis, SQL, and visualization tools like Power BI

  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage initiatives

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills for engaging stakeholders

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow)

  • Ability to build consensus across organizational boundaries

  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills for leading training, workshops, and meetings

  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences

  • Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean)

  • Fluent in French and English; German is a plus

  • Willingness to travel up to 25% as needed
