We are seeking an accomplished Salesforce Solution Architect to join our Technology and Transformation sector in Pōneke / Wellington. This is a hands-on architecture role combining deep technical delivery with solution leadership across complex Salesforce implementations, playing a pivotal role in technology-enabled transformation programmes and strategic IT initiatives. 

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions that enable complex business transformation. 

  • Set technical direction and governance across Salesforce platforms, overseeing configuration, custom development, integrations, and data migration to ensure quality and scalability. 

  • Drive integration strategy and execution, including MuleSoft and Boomi, to support secure digital ecosystems. 

  • Define long-term Salesforce and AI-enabled technology roadmaps, aligning platform capabilities with strategic business outcomes. 

  • Partner with senior stakeholders to translate business strategy into clear architectural direction and executable technical plans. 

  • Provide executive technical leadership and assurance, ensuring solutions adhere to architectural standards, best practices, and risk controls. 

  • Build and lead high-performing teams, mentor junior architects, and develop future technical leaders. 

  • Oversee data migration and platform integrity, ensuring data security, compliance, and operational resilience. 

  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, communicating complex technical concepts with clarity and influencing technology-driven decision-making.

  • Minimum 8-10 years in Salesforce architecture and solution design, operating in hands-on delivery roles. 

  • Multiple Salesforce Architect certifications. 

  • Advanced, practical experience with Apex, Lightning components, Visualforce, and APIs. 

  • Strong experience in data modelling, ETL processes, and migration strategies. 

  • Proven capability with integration platforms such as MuleSoft and Boomi. 

  • Experience working within CI/CD environments using tools such as Git and Azure DevOps. 

  • Demonstrated success delivering large-scale technology transformations, from design through execution. 

  • Strong project delivery skills, able to manage competing priorities, and tight deadlines. 

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with an innovative and pragmatic mindset. 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, engaging confidently with both technical teams and senior stakeholders. 

  • Proactive, collaborative, and delivery-focused, thriving in fast-paced and evolving environments.
