Job Description & Summary

The Salesforce Risk Functional Team is responsible for managing the intake, requirements, and prioritisation of use cases based on demand across global internal stakeholder groups. Our core product offering is the internal Risk and Regulatory applications managing the risk that PwC faces in the work it does for its clients and provides a workflow, outcomes and configurations that are easily accessible, robust, intuitive, and easily understood. The role will serve as a central point of accountability for translating business needs into actionable product requirements and maintaining a prioritized, groomed user story backlog that drives value delivery. Acting as a bridge between Agile Release Train (ART) product managers, architects, developers, and QA, the Product Owner will ensure alignment between technical roadmaps and business goals. By proactively identifying and mitigating technical risks and dependencies, this role safeguards product stability, scalability, and security essential to PwC’s risk environment. You will become a subject matter expert (SME) on the Risk workflow platforms and related technologies, empowering it to evangelize new capabilities and vendor releases effectively.


As such, the applicant should demonstrate thorough abilities and/or a proven track record in product ownership such as:


● Manager-level experience combining functional analysis with product ownership in an Agile environment (preferably SAFe).

● Strong skills in requirements elicitation, user story creation, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and stakeholder engagement.

● Deep understanding of Salesforce platforms and Risk & Regulatory applications, ideally with experience managing stakeholder relationships and technical teams.

● Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams including architects, technical leads, developers, QA, and business stakeholders.

● Familiarity with data management principles and reporting supports the role's responsibility for data quality and insight products.


Responsibilities:

● Act as the primary Product Owner for Salesforce KYC and Client Acceptance, supporting ART product managers by prioritizing and managing detailed business and technical requirements.

● Own and maintain the user story backlog, ensuring high-quality, on-spec delivery aligned with sprint and program increment goals.

● Coordinate closely with architects and technical leads to develop and execute implementation strategies aligned with PwC’s enterprise goals.

● Evangelize technical capabilities and vendor updates among business stakeholders, facilitating adoption of new features and enhancements.

● Establish and maintain subject matter expertise on assessment platforms, internal services, and third-party technologies.

● Identify and drive mitigation of technical risks and dependencies to maintain product stability, scalability, and security.

● Actively participate in incident triage activities to minimize disruption.

● Engage with vendors and partners for feature evaluations and technical assessments as part of ongoing platform evolution.

● Facilitate and lead requirements workshops, refining user stories with clear acceptance criteria.

● Work collaboratively with developers, QA, and business teams to resolve defects and ensure delivery meets functional and quality objectives.

● Support production and UAT troubleshooting and defect resolution, including GKYC onboarding support.

● Oversee creation of reports tailored for operational, management, and regulatory use, and lead data quality improvement initiatives through root cause analysis and remediation planning.
