Salesforce Manager :

 to be part of making this/that happen.    

Position Overview and Objective

The Manager, Business Applications leads a team of and System Administrators and Developers in the development, test and launch phases of software development life cycle.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties

Lead and develop a team of IT professionals, including Business Application Administrators and Developers, both in Operational and Business Intelligence systems.

Develop apt reporting and measurement on release performance and processes.

Head and direct collaborative efforts of release and developed management standards.

Lead the team in the design, development and maintenance of business applications, integrations, and automations.

Define, rollout and on-going project management for professional provided services.

Identify and recommend new tools, technologies, and/or processes to build upon release streams and builds.

Perform routine project activities required to manage release by test production and environments.

Collaborate with other Business Application teams and Management to ensure proper design, development and testing standards are met.

Key Skills

Working knowledge of Corporate Business Systems (i.e.. Salesforce, NetSuite, Workday, Business Intelligence tools)

Working knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle, including Agile standards and its related toolset and methodologies

Working knowledge of engineering standards and tools for both Operational and Business Intelligence applications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Excellent analytical and abstract reasoning skills

Excellent organization skills.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Strong collaboration skills

Be an escalation point of contact with the ability to provide excellent internal and external customer service and provide support to their team where needed. 

Key Competencies

Minimum Qualifications

Strong SDLC Release, Project Management, and Business Analysis background

Working knowledge of engineering standards and tools for both Operational and Business Intelligence applications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

5+  years experience with Business Systems Project Management and Release Management

Preferred Qualifications

Previous management experience

Environment and Physical Demands

Work is primarily sedentary in nature and can be executed sitting or standing positions in an office environment.

Requires ability to utilize technology related to using a keyboard, verbal communication, and work with device screens which require visual acuity.

If located in a company office, often requires the mobility to physically navigate the space.

In the event of business travel, mobility sufficient to utilize public and private transport and navigate to essential locations.

May include moving or lifting of 25 pounds or less (e.g. office chair, reams of paper). 

Travel Requirements

Typically 10% or less of business travel
