Job Description
As the Salesforce Service Cloud DevOps, you are a key member of Motorola Solutions’ Salesforce IT working on the delivery portfolio of diverse technology projects alongside a team of talented Salesforce team. Responsible for building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure, utilising knowledge in continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD), Cloud technologies, Container Orchestration, and Security. Build and test end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that systems are safe against security threats. A fair understanding of Salesforce Configuration, Components, Apex Code knowledge, Lightning Web Component, Aura component, and Automation flows. Eagerness to enhance technical knowledge.

Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations
Expected to be an SME for continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD), Cloud technologies, Container Orchestration, and Security.
Collaborate and manage the team to perform
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines
Responsible for team decisions - Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions
Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams
Ensure security measures are in place for systems
Desired Background/Knowledge/Skills
Experience with container orchestration tools.
Knowledge of security best practices in CI/CD pipelines
Create and maintain deployment pipelines and release plans using CI/CD Tools
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CI/CD Tools and Salesforce deployments
Develop and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate and streamline the Salesforce development and release process
Monitor and optimise pipeline performance and reliability
Collaborate with Salesforce developers, Architects, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions
Facilitate communication between development teams and operations to ensure alignment and smooth deployments
Implement and manage monitoring tools to ensure the health and performance of Salesforce applications and deployments
Create and maintain documentation for DevOps processes, configurations, and best practices
Proficiency with version control systems, such as Bitbucket
Bachelor's or Master's degree in STEM, Computer Science or Business from an accredited university.
1-2 years of experience in a role as a DevOps Engineer working with the Salesforce Cloud platform primarily.
Knowledge of security best practices in CI/CD pipelines.
Experience working in Agile Scrum or SAFe frameworks
Experience working in a DevOps setting using the latest DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, Bitbucket, Jira, SonarQube, DevOps Architecture and Dynatrace.
Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation tasks
Experience with cloud platforms and containerization (e.g., AWS, Docker) is a plus
Experience with Jira and Jenkins
