The role of the Salesforce Business Analyst encompasses responsibility for CRM- related projects, enhancements, maintenance and direct support to the BMO Insurance’s business pillars.  The Salesforce BA will play a pivotal role in driving the company’s digital transformation by translating business needs into Salesforce enabled solutions that enhance customer experience, improve operational efficiency and modernize legacy insurance processes. This role bridges business stakeholders, technology teams and implementation partners to ensure Salesforce solutions deliver measurable value across BMO Insurance’s strategic pillars – Advisory, Retail & Institutional.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Requirement Gathering & Analysis: Collaborate with Insurance business units to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Translate business needs into clear user stories, process flows and functional specifications for Salesforce solutions.
  • Map and where applicable, re-engineer end to end insurance processes to leverage automation, AI and digital channels within Salesforce.
  • Engage in regular review processes to ensure the CRM remains updated and accurate for data integrity purposes.
  • Act as a trusted liaison between business and technical teams, facilitating workshops and UAT sessions to ensure alignment and adoption.
  • Represent and advocate for the needs of the Insurance organization in new CRM projects and enhancements.
  • Serve as a key advocate for continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimize workflows, dashboards and analytics for evolving business needs.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in CRM administration, business analysis and development, ideally in insurance industry preferred.
  • 5+ years of Salesforce platform experience (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud or Financial Services Cloud).
  • Strong understanding of insurance operations and the end-to-end policy lifecycle.
  • Experience in Agile delivery environments and framework.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • General business knowledge and familiarity with analytics and business intelligence tools.
  • Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Business Analyst, or Industry Cloud Consultant) will be preferred.
  • Experience working in large, complex organizations with exposure to digital transformation, process improvement, and systems integration.
  • Attend to detail is critical.
  • Solid team player with a high commitment to quality work and service.

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position, based in the office 3 times a week.
  • Collaborative role that requires working across various business units, including IT, Sales, and operations.

Salary:

$61,600.00 - $113,900.00

The above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type.

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
