The Sales Variable Manager is responsible for providing exceptional customer service throughout the deal process. Helping customers choose products that protect their vehicle purchase and setting up the structure and finalization of the sale. This individual also works with lenders to obtain financing approval and completes all vehicle purchase and associated paperwork accurately and on time.
Responsibilities
Sales Process Management
Ensure salespeople are engaging directly with the customer and engage directly with customer themselves.
Walk lot everyday with sales team to ensure knowledge of vehicle pricing and excellent condition of inventory, advertising, banners and area grounds.
Develop effective sales staff by communicating expected performance standards, monitoring performance, identifying development needs, coaching and mentoring.
Customer Engagement
Ensure all customers greeted promptly in a professionally and friendly manner.
Address and resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
Assist Sales Representatives with customers when needed in order to ensure sale of vehicle.
Remain aware of all customers on lot and ensure their customer buying experience is progressing as expected.
Track ad sourcing by communicating with customers to identify what brought them to the store.
Help customers choose protection packages for their vehicle by presenting all products and their benefits.
Ensure financing for customers; by building professional relationships with lenders and working with them to get the best financing available for our customers.
Submit deals to bank electronically using appropriate dealer system.
Enter transactions accurately into ADP and bank approval systems.
Process all transaction paperwork and ensure it is accurate and meets the needs of the Office, state specific DMV and lender requirements.
Track deal receivables and follow-up on outstanding items to ensure collection of all money and bank stipulations for contract funding.
Follow-up with customers as courtesy reminder for purchased products requiring customer action (ex. Protective coating applied)
Obtain all appropriate licensing within 90 days from date of hire.

Est. Annual Earnings range from: $70,000 - $150,000
Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge/bonus/commission, location, etc.
