Key responsibilities
- Strategy and instructional design: interpret sales force performance indicators and translate them into agile, executable training strategies; deliver instructional design across multiple modalities (e-learning, job aids, manuals) and craft adult learning experiences for diverse learning styles.
- End-to-end training management: lead needs diagnostics, course implementation (including New Hire Training), and evaluation, maintaining training records and progress reporting to stakeholders.
- Field execution and impact: conduct quality-of-execution assessments via iCAST, field rides, role-plays, and certifications; correlate knowledge with sales force performance and provide business feedback.
- Global alignment and cross-functional collaboration: serve as point of contact with Commercial Learning to adapt global programs to AZ Mexico needs; co-create training with Marketing and Medical to support new product and indication launches.
- Leadership and talent support: partner with sales leaders on competency assessments and career planning, including calibration sessions; provide in-field feedback and coaching to RVs and FLSMs.
- Budget and governance: manage the annual training budget, maximizing resources and minimizing variances; report progress and impact to the Commercial Core Team (CCT); influence the CFT with insights on learning needs.
- Platforms and measurement: administer LMS platforms (e.g., Degreed, ACTO, Xyleme), design assessment and diagnostic instruments, and ensure outcomes measurement.
Mandatory requirements
- Education: Degree in Human Resources, Education/Pedagogy, or Sciences.
- Experience: 1–2 years in training, with experience leading sales or training teams and experience as a training coordinator or manager.
- Languages: Intermediate–advanced English.
- Tools: Proficiency with office productivity suites.
- Knowledge: End-to-end training processes (needs assessment, design, delivery, evaluation).
Desirable requirements
- LMS: Knowledge of learning platforms; familiarity with Degreed, ACTO, Xyleme (or similar) is ideal for faster ramp-up.
- Technology: Experience with AI tools applied to learning and productivity.
- Industry: Training experience in pharma and comfort with a regulated environment.
