About the Sales Team Lead:

MarketStar is looking for a Sales Team Lead to support our Client Services team for а strategic client – a fintech company that provides a powerful all-in-one payments platform enabling businesses of all sizes to accept in-store, online, and mobile card payments with instant access to funds and integrated financial tools. It serves hundreds of thousands of merchants across Europe with affordable POS terminals, e-money merchant accounts, and digital payment solutions designed to simplify cashless transactions and support business growth.

The Team Lead manages day-to-day activities and is responsible for the performance of a team of inside sales representatives, whose main goal is to engage with inbound leads, generate outbound opportunities, and contribute to the achievement of new revenue and account acquisition targets.  Your efforts will be instrumental in building a robust sales pipeline and driving the growth of the product ecosystem.

This role involves managing client relationships, understanding sales goals, and crafting solutions to meet client needs while increasing the reach and visibility of the products and services being promoted. This role reports directly to the Client Services Director.

What Will You Do:

  • Consistent in leading a team of sales reps to reach and exceed weekly, monthly and annual goals;
  • Monitors and reports on the performance of the team, identifies successes, good practices and areas for improvement; Periodically meet with the team to review general and specific tasks;
  • Works for the constant development of the team by monitoring the daily tasks and performance of sales representatives;
  • Motivates sales representatives and organizes daily tasks, regular trainings and other activities related to the performance of their tasks;
  • Provides and accepts regular feedback and guidance on the development of sales representatives;
  • Conducts individual training sessions with employees;
  • Resolve sensitive customer inquiries;
  • Monitors the upcoming requirements, needs and expectations of customers. Participate in regular meetings with them;
  • If necessary, participate in the process of selection of sales representatives
  • Informs the Sales Manager in case of problems related to customer service activities;
  • Informs the Sales Manager and the Human Resources Manager about any problems related to occupational safety at the time of their occurrence.
  • Maintain your own book of business to support the team’s revenue goals. Engage inbound leads from web forms and partners, understand their business needs, and convert them into qualified sales opportunities.

What Will You Need to Succeed?

  • Professional experience in a managerial position is an advantage;
  • Minimum 2 year of previous professional experience in the field of customer service
  • Able to organize, coordinate, and direct projects
  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively to MarketStar leadership, including Executive leadership, and MarketStar client contacts.
  • Must adapt well to change and successfully set and adjust priorities as needed
  • Knowledge of CRM tools (HubSpot), Microsoft Office, and Google products will be considered as a plus
  • Must be competitive and be willing to drive, push and exceed goals
  • Results-oriented with the ability to motivate others and drive performance. Team management.
  • Must have an adaptive management style and the ability to work at micro and macro levels
  • A person that loves relationship-building and enjoys problem-solving;
  • Bachelor's degree required in Business study/ Management Science;
  • A high level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in Italian or French will be considered a plus.

The pay for this position is basic salary per annum of 26880 - 32256 Euro gross per year. There are several factors to consider including but not limited to, the role’s responsibilities, experience, location, education/training, internal equity, and key skills. Your recruiter will provide more detailed information during the interview process.
