The Zillow Rentals team helps make renting easier, more transparent, and more efficient for millions of renters and property partners across the country. Within Rentals Sales Strategy & Operations, the Systems & Tools team enables seller productivity through reliable systems, scalable processes, accurate reporting, and strong cross-functional partnership.

About the role

As a Sales Systems Manager, you will help Zillow Rentals scale the systems, tools, and programs that power frontline sales execution. This individual contributor role partners across Sales, Product, Data, Finance, and Engineering to improve workflows, strengthen reporting accuracy, support successful launches, and drive adoption of tools that help sellers work more effectively.

You Will Get To

- Support core sales platforms such as Salesforce, Gong, Salesloft, and internal tools to maintain system health, user support, and reliable day-to-day operations.

- Manage key workflows including user provisioning, permissions, territory support, troubleshooting, and basic system governance.

- Lead and support cross-functional initiatives that improve seller workflows, tooling adoption, process efficiency, and operational scale.

- Gather business requirements, map processes, identify gaps, and translate needs into scalable system and workflow improvements.

- Coordinate project timelines, dependencies, stakeholder communication, testing, release readiness, and rollout execution for tooling and process changes.

- Monitor data flows and system behavior to identify issues that affect activity capture, reporting accuracy, KPI integrity, and frontline execution.

- Define and track success metrics tied to adoption, productivity, operational health, and reporting accuracy, and use insights to recommend improvements.

- Build and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, playbooks, support models, and operating standards.

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.

In California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $90,900.00 - $145,100.00 annually. This base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations. In Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Minnesota, Nevada, Ohio, Rhode Island, and Vermont the standard base pay range for this role is $86,300.00 - $137,900.00 annually. The base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations.

In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. Employees in this role will not be paid below the salary threshold for exempt employees in the state where they reside.

Who you are

- Typically 5+ years of related experience in revenue operations, sales operations, program management, project management, business systems, or a comparable field; equivalent experience will also be considered.

- Hands-on experience administering or supporting CRM and go-to-market systems such as Salesforce, Salesloft, Gong, or similar platforms.

- Experience supporting business-critical workflows in a fast-paced environment and improving processes, tools, or operational execution.

- A systems thinker and structured problem solver who can use data to investigate issues, identify opportunities, and recommend practical solutions.

- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing stakeholders across a matrixed environment.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate analysis into clear recommendations and align partners around next steps.

- Experience supporting testing, release execution, documentation, and change management for systems or process improvements.

- Comfortable navigating ambiguity, managing competing priorities, and learning new systems, workflows, and business processes quickly.
