Sales Strategy & Analytics Manager

Remote or Hybrid (SLC, Utah) Full Time

We are seeking a Sales Strategy & Analytics Manager to act as a strategic partner to sales leadership, translating data into actionable insights that drive revenue growth and inform key business decisions. This role owns forecasting and planning for the business, proactively identifying risks and opportunities while ensuring alignment across cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with business acumen and the ability to influence stakeholders. This position reports to the VP of National Accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and drive weekly sales reporting and performance analysis across multiple systems; synthesize insights into clear, actionable recommendations for sales leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Leverage complex datasets to identify growth opportunities, performance drivers, and risks, translating findings into strategic actions
  • Lead short-term and long-range forecasting for retail POS, incorporating variables such as new item launches, distribution changes, merchandising programs, seasonality, and promotions
  • Own the monthly customer facing reforecasting process, proactively communicating updates, risks, and opportunities 
  • Act as a strategic partner to Demand Planning to ensure forecast alignment, accuracy, and operational feasibility
  • Lead weekly business reviews, aligning teams on performance, tracking progress against priorities, and driving decision-making
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across Sales, Supply Chain, and Marketing to ensure execution against business objectives
  • Identify process gaps and inefficiencies, and develop scalable solutions to improve reporting, forecasting, and planning workflows
  • Monitor competitive landscape, including innovation, pricing, and market trends, to inform strategic recommendations
  • Support and influence key sales deliverables, including retailer presentations, merchandising strategies, and critical business reviews
  • Own audit responses and data validation, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance across deliverables
  • Maintain and evolve critical business tools and materials, ensuring accessibility, accuracy, and usability for internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in sales analytics, sales strategy, category management, demand planning, or related roles within CPG, retail, or consumer-focused industries
  • Demonstrated experience owning or significantly contributing to forecasting and business planning processes
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, with strong capabilities in data analysis, modeling, and reporting
  • Proven ability to translate data into insights and influence business decisions
  • Strong communication skills, with experience presenting to and partnering with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and operate with a high level of ownership and accountability
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Supply Chain, and Marketing teams
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field preferred

Salary: $75,000-120,000 annually, based on experience

Location: Remote, or hybrid if in the SLC, UT area
