Agropur is looking for a Sales Representative to join its team temporarily for15 months and cover the Montreal island (Central-West) territory.

As a Sales Representative, you will provide consistent, high-value representation services to all clients within your territory (Montreal, Central-West). You will plan, organize, and coordinate sales activities to maximize the business volume of the company’s products.

You will develop and maintain business relationships with store management teams to achieve and grow your shared objectives. You will optimize product distribution and profitability in your territory by leveraging the tools at your disposal.

  • Salary scale 004: $71,200 to $89,000 (Base salary will be determined based on your academic background, experience, training, and skills related to the position.)

 

What this role involves:

More specifically, the responsibilities of the Sales Representative include:

  • Manage and grow accounts within the territory by providing exceptional customer service.

  • Maximize product distribution and profitability.

  • Create synergies between distribution channels to support Agropur’s growth.

  • Ensure account coverage according to a visit cycle and follow up on promotions, planograms, and commercial agreements.

  • Negotiate agreements to optimize distribution and profitability.

  • Present business analyses and recommend in-store adjustments.

  • Prospect and acquire new clients.

  • Participate in creating proposals for existing and potential clients.

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets.

 

What you need to join our team:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

  • An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, ideally in the food or consumer goods industry.

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.

  • Customer-oriented with proven sales expertise.

  • Excellent skills in qualifying, negotiating, and closing deals.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Bilingual in French and English

  • Proficiency with common computer tools (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and knowledge of Nielsen/SAP (an asset).

  • Availability for occasional travel and overnight stays.
