RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with existing systems and protocols to carry out designated economic research activities, either to support others or to deliver prescribed outcomes for part of a research program.
- Complete research and analyze data to develop and/or support a sound understanding of customer segments, trends, needs, and expectations.
- Support the collection of data and participate in reviews of marketing activities to identify opportunities for improvements.
- Resolve queries from internal or external customers or suppliers by providing information on complex processes and the related policies, referring to others where necessary for interpretation of policy.
- Collate and analyze data using pre-set tools, methods and formats. Involves working independently.
- Contribute to the preparation of various data and analytics reports.
REQUIREMENTS
- University (First degree)
- Experienced practitioner able to work unsupervised
- Experience of general supervision of more junior colleagues
- Works without supervision and provides technical guidance when required on analyzing data trends for use in reports to help guide decision making.
- Supports business processes without supervision by understanding and effectively using standard office equipment and standard software packages, while providing technical guidance as needed.
- Works without supervision and provides technical guidance when required on acquiring, organizing, protecting and processing data to fulfill business objectives.
- Conducts research and analyzes data with guidance (but not constant supervision) in order to develop a comprehensive understanding of customer and market conditions that enables maximum return on investments.
- Applies understanding of the business environment and objectives to develop solutions without supervision, while also providing technical assistance when necessary.
- Works without supervision and provides technical guidance when required on planning, organizing, prioritizing and overseeing activities to efficiently meet business objectives.
- Communicates with other people without requiring supervision and provides technical guidance when required on speaking in a clear, concise and compelling manner.
- Works without supervision while providing technical guidance when required on managing projects and/or programs within desired cost, time and quality parameters.
- Works without supervision and provides technical guidance when required on creating relevant, lucid and effective reports.
- Works without supervision and provides technical guidance when required on reviewing and creating relevant, lucid and effective reports.
