Geotab is seeking a Sales Operations Analyst, SMB who will serve as the primary analytical partner and point of contact for SMB Sales Leaders to drive increased sales productivity and achieve SMB revenue goals. What you'll do:
As a Sales Operations Analyst, SMB your key area of responsibility will be performing advanced analysis to uncover root causes and drive efficiency within the SMB sales teams and supporting operations. This includes ensuring the continuous and equitable flow of leads and accounts, troubleshooting tools, providing insights through local reporting and SFDC dashboard updates, and managing the internal process documentation library. You will need to work closely with Sales Leaders, and cross-functional partners like Product Management (PM), Business Intelligence (BI), Revenue Operations (Rev Ops), Sales Value Team (SVT), Marketing, and Learning & Development (L&D).
To be successful in this role you will be a trusted advisor who champions thoughtful communication, and has the ability to articulate complex business problems in a meaningful and effective way to facilitate the ease of understanding key problems. In addition, the successful candidate will have advanced analytical skills to uncover root causes and solutions, strong process management capabilities to critically evaluate and optimize current processes, and the ability to build scalable solutions that incorporate strategic direction.
How you'll make an impact:
- Partner directly with Sales Leaders to assess, evaluate, and implement high-impact, scalable, and best-practice sales solutions tailored to the SMB segment.
- Perform advanced analysis to uncover root causes, increase efficiency, and drive solutions within Sales and Operations, including local reporting, SFDC updates, and evaluating Ops Case effectiveness.
- Oversee day-to-day work such as lead and account management (both manual and automated), OC review, and critical process evaluation to cut time, cost, or rep inefficiency, ensuring the continuous and equitable flow of resources to the sales teams.
- Collaborate on establishing and building best initiatives quickly, developing solutions that strategically enhance the productivity of our sales teams and aligning with Ops partners globally to ensure scalability.
- Strengthen communication across aligned sales team leadership, Analysts, MPs, and other internal business partners, fostering an inclusive environment that aligns with company values.
What you'll bring to this role:
- 3-5 years of business analysis experience working with stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment.
- Experience in a Sales Operations, Sales Enablement, or Operations role, preferably within a B2B SaaS or technology company.
- Proven ability to quickly learn new software and technologies in a constantly evolving tool ecosystem.
- Excellent data analysis skills with a high degree of proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, functions).
- Exceptionally detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
- A process-driven mindset with a proven ability to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French.
