Sales Marketing Associate

Remote - Michigan Full time

As the Sales Marketing Associate, you'll lead the execution of brand-compliant marketing strategies and events that promote client retention, engagement, and lead generation. This role manages social media accounts, coordinates open house events, and oversees the accuracy of Executive Loan Officer databases. The team member collaborates with internal stakeholders to ensure timely, compliant, and on-brand marketing communications, advertising efforts, and campaign activities.

About the role

  • Create and manage social media platforms and ensure all content and communications align with the company’s branding, tone, and compliance requirements.
  • Organize and manage open house materials, ensuring every event follows the company’s brand standards and guidelines.
  • Manage Executive Loan Officer (ELO) client databases to ensure all information is accurate leading to consistent client engagement and lead management.
  • Collaborate closely with internal marketing teams to ensure compliance with all organizational branding, legal, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Construct and implement onboarding marketing to past clients as part of proactive client relationship management.
  • Post all open house events and funding updates on designated social media pages, maintaining a professional and on-brand presence.
  • Assist in coordinating event planning from inception to completion.
  • Monitor and manage the productivity of marketing initiatives, ensuring campaigns are delivered within agreed-upon timeframes and budgets.
  • Manage advertising contracts and vendor relationships to ensure compliance with internal procurement, brand, and quality standards.
  • Provide training and guidance to internal staff on the use of automatic marketing systems, ensuring all automated communications are consistent, effective, and compliant.
  • Regularly report on return on investment and key performance indicators for all marketing activities.
  • Continually monitor industry best practices, updating strategies to keep Rocket’s marketing efforts innovative and competitive.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, with a consistent focus on upholding Rocket Companies’ brand reputation and standards.

About you

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field

  • 1-2 years of experience in a marketing or brand support role

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience with CRM tools and social media platforms

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Strong presentation skills with a focus on delivering brand-aligned messaging

  • Proven ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently

Preferred Qualifications

  • Mortgage or financial services industry experience

  • Experience with automated marketing platforms

  • Experience leading social media strategy and content planning

  • Familiarity with analyzing marketing return on investment (ROI) and key performance indicators (KPI)
