Position: Sales Manager – Lower Gulf/Rest of Gulf (ROG): Modern Channel
Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Reporting to: Sales Director – ME
Job Summary:
The Sales Manager, ROG, is responsible for driving sales growth and increasing market share within the modern retail channel of the desired region. The role involves developing and executing sales strategies, planning and executing annual business plans with respective distributors and managing relationships with key accounts to achieve revenue targets and margin efficiencies. The role will also require the ability to manage sellout, monitor inventory levels, and develop joint business plans with key accounts in the country.
Key Responsibilities:
§ Develop and execute sales strategies to increase sales revenue and market share within the modern retail channel in ROG.
§ Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with key accounts/retailers/distributors.
§ Manage key customer relationships, including negotiations, contract management, and ongoing account management.
§ Own respective region PSI and report the findings to trade marketing team on a regular basis. Monitor daily sell out to analyze trends thus maintaining healthy channel and partner inventory levels.
§ Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to the Sales Director, highlighting key achievements, opportunities, and challenges.
§ Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure effective sales execution.
§ Stay up to date with market trends, competitors’ activity, and customer needs, providing insights and recommendations to the Sales Director.
§ Manage sellout and inventory levels, ensuring optimal product availability and minimizing stockouts.
§ Develop joint business plans with distributors & key accounts, identifying opportunities to grow the business and deliver mutual value.

§ Proven track record of success in modern channel sales within the GCC region.
§ Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a sales team, field team, channel partners and distributors.
§ Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers.
§ Strategic thinker, able to develop and execute sales strategies that align with business objectives.
§ Results-driven, with a focus on achieving revenue targets.
§ Analytical mindset, with the ability to use data to drive sales decisions.
§ Strong key account management skills, with experience managing large and complex accounts.
§ Ability to understand and anticipate customer needs and develop customized solutions to meet those needs.
§ Experience in sellout management, PSI dashboards, demand and forecasting models and inventory control.
§ Ability to develop joint business plans with key accounts.
§ Strong network and relationships with channel partners
Qualifications:
§ Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, or related field.
§ 10+ years of experience in modern channel sales within GCC.
§ Experience managing a sales team, retail and distribution and driving sales growth.
§ Strong understanding of the GCC market and modern retail channels.
