Group/Division

The Semiconductor Process Control (Semi PC) business unit designs, builds, sells and supports a comprehensive product portfolio that ensures high-quality production of the chips that power the technologies of today and the future, including AI, data centers, automotive and electronic devices. Semi PC’s differentiated inspection, metrology and data analytic systems discover, characterize and monitor the defects and variations that can affect manufacturing processes across the semiconductor ecosystem, including high-performance logic chips, advanced memory chips, specialty semiconductors, wafers, reticles, advanced packaging, process equipment and materials. Semi PC solves our customers’ most critical challenges through a combination of innovative technologies, close collaborations, and a dynamic, global team. Semi PC is looking for talent in research, engineering, sales, marketing, and applications to ensure continued production of leading-edge process control solutions that drive our customers’ success.

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

In this role, you will be responsible for leading and growing the Instruments business across Asia (excluding China). This role has end‑to‑end responsibility for driving sales performance, executing regional PSA strategies, and strengthening customer and channel partner relationships. The position requires strong commercial leadership, the ability to develop and support a high‑performing sales team, and close collaboration with regional and global stakeholders to achieve growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Business & Sales Leadership

  • Own and drive revenue, market share, and growth objectives for the Instruments portfolio across Asia (ex‑China).

  • Develop and execute clear, actionable PSA (Product / Platform / Portfolio Sales) strategies aligned with regional and corporate objectives.

  • Translate strategy into executable sales plans, forecasts, and account roadmaps to consistently meet or exceed targets.

  • Monitor sales performance, pipeline health, and key business metrics, proactively addressing gaps and risks.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, coach, and support a dedicated instruments sales team across the region.

  • Set clear expectations, performance goals, and development plans for team members.

  • Foster a collaborative, high‑performance culture focused on accountability, customer impact, and continuous improvement.

Channel & Partner Management

  • Manage and strengthen relationships with channel partners across Asia, ensuring alignment with strategy and execution excellence.

  • Drive partner enablement, including sales readiness, product knowledge, and joint go‑to‑market initiatives.

  • Ensure consistent execution, governance, and performance tracking across direct and indirect sales models.

Customer & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong senior‑level relationships with key customers to understand business priorities and long‑term growth opportunities.

  • Represent the Instruments business with credibility and strategic insight across customer, partner, and internal forums.

  • Collaborate closely with marketing, applications, service, operations, and global product teams to deliver integrated customer solutions.

Planning, Forecasting & Operational Excellence

  • Lead regional forecasting, demand planning, and business reviews with a high level of accuracy and discipline.

  • Ensure adherence to corporate sales processes, pricing governance, and compliance policies.

  • Provide clear executive‑level communication on performance, risks, and growth opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field or relevant experience.

  • Significant experience in sales within the semiconductor or high‑technology equipment industry. Deep understanding of instrumentation, metrology, or process control solutions.

  • Proven success managing complex sales cycles and regional portfolios across Asia.

  • Strong experience working with channel partners and indirect sales models.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and motivate geographically dispersed teams. Comfortable operating in a matrixed, global organization.

  • This roles requires up to 40% travel.
