The Sales Manager – Bronco is responsible for setting and executing the commercial strategy for the HMH Bronco product line. This role oversees sales leadership, new market development, customer engagement, and strategic forecasting. This position plays a critical role in defining long‑term growth pathways, managing key customer relationships, and ensuring that Bronco business meets or exceeds revenue, margin, and operational targets.

Job Responsibilities

Sales Strategy

  • Develop, communicate, and implement a comprehensive revenue growth strategy in partnership with business unit sales leaders.
  • Strengthen competitive positioning for Bronco products, services, and capabilities.
  • Partner with senior leadership to evaluate and communicate growth opportunities.
  • Build business cases for strategic initiatives, including long‑lead procurement requests per DOA matrix.
  • Ensure alignment of regional strategy with global commercial objectives.

Business Development

  • Generate new commercial opportunities in both existing and new markets.
  • Identify market trends, competitive intelligence, and customer needs to drive NPI reverse‑engineering opportunities from major OEMs.
  • Build and maintain senior‑level relationships across internal and external organizations.
  • Increase Bronco/HMH visibility through active participation in regional industry associations (e.g., IADC, relevant trade groups).
  • Establish regional KPIs and performance metrics aligned with global sales targets, and track performance.

Sales Leadership

  • Own all account management and opportunity development for the Bronco portfolio.
  • Build, lead, develop, and mentor a high‑performing sales team aligned with HMH values, strategy, and performance culture.
  • Provide commercial leadership to sales, engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure alignment across the value chain.
  • Manage the Bronco sales budget for the Tulsa facility, including T&L and operating expenses.
  • Drive disciplined CRM adoption, pipeline management, and data-driven decision making.

Business Planning

  • Own the Bronco forecast, operating rhythm, and sales planning process.
  • Align sales pipeline with HMH/Bronco operational capacity and capability, providing inputs for IBP and formal business reviews.
  • Build and consolidate Bronco’s annual budget and monthly forecasts.
  • Deliver periodic performance updates, insights, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Ensure forecasting accuracy and accountability across the sales team.
  • ERP management of data base for Bronco.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 12 years of relevant experience)
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant professional level experience
  • Minimum 2 years of management experience and leading organizations
  • Ability to persuade managers and leaders to take action and/or negotiate with external partners/vendors/customers
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing direct reports.
  • 40% of travel required.
