In line with the marketing and commercial strategy of VELUX Belgium:
You develop a sales strategy based on major market trends, customer needs, and the overall strategy of VELUX Belgium.
You manage a team of sales representatives (account managers) active in the professional retail and DIY market.
Together with them, you define both the strategic and operational approach for resellers, and you follow up on their field activities, including the Key Account plans for our major customers.
You ensure the development of the competencies of your team members and support them in their growth within the company.
You directly manage an existing portfolio of “key” clients in the DIY chain segment.
You build long-term relationships with these partners and maintain regular contact with purchasing headquarters.
You present our products and strategy to key clients and develop joint marketing and commercial initiatives to create strong and sustainable partnerships.
You work closely with all internal departments of VELUX Belgium (Marketing, Operations, Logistics, etc.).
You collaborate closely and trustfully with our Sales Manager (and team) responsible for the installer target group.
You report to the Market Director of VELUX Belgium.
YOUR PROFILE
You hold a university degree in a commercial and/or marketing field and have solid experience in relationship management within a B2B context.
You have experience in team management, ideally in a B2B environment, and you are a natural and recognized leader.
You have strong experience in Key Account Management, preferably within the construction sector.
You master the fundamentals of marketing and ideally have already gained initial experience in this area.
You are able to build strong partnerships and are an outstanding negotiator.
An affinity with the construction sector is considered an asset.
You have a diplomatic and analytical mindset and are also capable of demonstrating empathy.
You are perfectly bilingual in Dutch and French, with an active knowledge of English.
