Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Represents Accuray effectively and professionally to the market.
- Manages indirect channel partners driving the business in the territory, achieving the targets (sales, business expansion and profitability), and growing Accuray’s footprint in the territory.
- Negotiates and manages agreements for the indirect channel partners.
- Drives qualitative and quantitative performance of indirect channel partners including channel optimization and adequate coaching.
- Supports the indirect channel partners to ensure successful product positioning and competitive offering.
- Establishes robust business plans and accurate sales forecasts.
- Develops account specific sales strategies and applies sales tactics to meet the company’s regional objectives.
- Performs territorial analysis to identify customer needs in terms of Accuray products, competitor activities, markets trends and emerging opportunities and converts them successfully into business opportunities for Accuray.
- Builds-up and maintains an in-depth, comprehensive knowledge and expertise on Accuray’s product portfolio.
- Manages leads & opportunities throughout the entire chain from identification till successful contract closure.
- Expands collaborative network of KOL advocators.
- Creates, maintains and nurtures relationships with key accounts, ensuring highest satisfaction levels and fostering long-term partnerships with Accuray users, customers and prospect including radiation oncologists, radiation therapists, medical physicists and healthcare executives.
- Collaborates productively with international, cross-functional teams.
- Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures in all channel partner activities.
- Represents Accuray at relevant exhibitions and congresses.
Qualifications:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Engineering, or in a related field.
- Around 7 years’ working experience in both direct & in-direct sales in the medical device industry in ASEAN – ideally in capital equipment business such as radiology, radiation therapy or a similar therapeutical medical discipline.
- Hands-on expertise with SalesForce CRM, sales reporting and ERP systems.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and presentation skills including the ability to present complex technology to healthcare professionals.
- Excellent, effective communication skills including written and spoken English. Additional ASEAN-relevant languages are of advantage.
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines, multi-task and prioritize high workload.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and growing channel partnerships
- Successful experience as a sales representative or sales channel manager having consistently met or exceeded targets.
- Sales driven individual, with a strong desire to excel.
- Advanced negotiation and contract management skills including the ability to negotiate throughout a complex acquisition process.
- Possess strong work ethics and business integrity.
- Ability to travel frequently (typically >50% of regional and overseas travel).
- Having successfully worked in a multinational, corporate setting including matrix organisations.
