Job Description:

Maryland Environmental Service has an opening for a Laborer at the Cox Creek Sediment Technology and Reuse Facility on Fort Armistead Road in Baltimore, MD.

Responsibilities include janitorial functions, small repairs and maintenance, grass cutting, pesticide application, operation of vehicles, use of hand tools, power mowers & other small equipment. Additionally, this position may be required to independently complete job-related errands including picking up parts, tools, and supplies.

Estimated Pay Range:

$39,351.31 to $41,500.00

Minimum Requirements:

Graduation from a standard high school or GED or completion of eighth grade plus one year of warehouse, production, building maintenance, janitorial, or other general work experience. Must be able to pass a standard physical exam, lift up to 50 lbs., and have the ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing and follow oral and written instructions.  

Must have a valid driver’s license with less than five points.
