Sales Development Representative - Inside Sales

Job Location: Remote, US. Must reside and work within the US.

Job Overview:

The Sales Development Representative - Inside Sales plays a pivotal role in driving customer enrollment and loyalty through exceptional service and tailored solutions. This position directly contributes to achieving sales goals across Time4Learning & Brightspire Virtual School by identifying, qualifying, and closing opportunities, while partnering with the Revenue & Growth Marketing team to align promotional strategies and messaging with overall sales goals. This is a contributor role with clear ownership of drive conversion. Total compensation is based on performance. Must be available for 10am - 6pm ET shift, Monday - Friday

Job Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to all prospect inquiries through phone, email, social & chat.

  • Conduct targeted outreach to families exploring independent study or alternative education pathways, converting interest into qualified opportunities.

  • Manage and maintain a calendar of consultation appointments, ensuring timely delivery of scheduled sessions.

  • Identify trends and recommend solutions to drive increased customer enrollment and long-term loyalty..

  • Accurately document all prospect interactions and outcomes in CRM systems.

  • Execute special projects as assigned.

  • Use solution-oriented techniques that will leave an impeccable first impression.

  • Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude towards internal & external customers.

  • Must be available to work occasional Saturdays and overtime.

Job Requirements:

  • 2 - 4 years inside sales experience, ideally in education, edtech, or SaaS.

  • Ability to effectively close deals while fostering excellent customer relationships and retention.

  • Proven success in outbound prospecting and lead qualification.

  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working autonomously in a remote environment.

  • Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce or similar), Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask..

  • Exceptional customer service, written & oral communication skills.

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus.

  • Must be available for 10am - 6pm ET shift, Monday - Friday.

  • Required internet speed of at least 7Mbps. A speed test will be conducted.
