We are looking for a driven Sales Consultant to support our ING distribution network, combining strong commercial skills with a solid, project oriented approach to distribution initiatives.
What does your role look like as a Sales Consultant (Life & Non Life) Antwerp and Limburg ?
As a Sales Consultant, you are responsible for developing and strengthening the commercial performance within the existing commercial partnership with ING.
You act as an intermediary and primary point of contact between our ING sales channel (ING agencies), NN and ING.
You map your portfolio of agencies and take ownership of building and maintaining your personal relationship management.
You regularly conduct performance meetings with the agencies to discuss objectives and results, and to define action plans when results fall below expectations.
You create and deliver presentations and training sessions within the agencies on both life and non life insurance products.
You maintain strong relationships with existing agencies by proactively and thoroughly informing them about products and services, capturing feedback, and actively following up on improvement initiatives.
You share information with the agencies from a product and commercial perspective.
You provide both technical and organizational support to the agencies.
You identify the needs of the agencies and provide appropriate advice.
You closely monitor market developments and anticipate changes in a timely manner, such as competitor product developments.
You combine relationship management and sales responsibilities with the coordination and follow up of distribution related projects, in close collaboration with internal ING and NN stakeholders.
You act as a commercial sparring partner and/or project coordinator, translating strategic objectives into concrete actions within the distribution network (e.g. commercial actions, lead management, incentive programs, etc.).
You translate strategic distribution decisions into concrete project plans, timelines and deliverables.
You actively contribute to the continuous improvement of distribution processes and commercial operations.
This is how you fit perfectly into our team:
You hold a higher education degree (minimum Bachelor), preferably with a commercial orientation.
You have at least 5 years of experience in Sales and Account Management within the insurance sector.
Or you have at least 5 years of experience in product management or customer care within the insurance sector and are looking for a new commercial challenge.
You have experience managing projects or can demonstrate the ability to further develop project management skills (structured approach, ability to work independently, etc.).

In addition to Dutch as your mother tongue, you have a good knowledge of French and English.
You are customer focused and results oriented.
You possess strong advisory skills, complemented by solid training and presentation capabilities.

You are able to work autonomously and take responsibility for commercially convincing a group of agencies.
You are responsible for the Antwerp and Limburg region, visiting agencies, while also supporting national level projects from the Brussels head office.
You have strong communication skills and can clearly and accessibly explain complex topics.
You are a true team player who prioritizes collective goals.
You are eager to learn and motivated to master all details of retail insurance products (Life and Non Life).
You adopt an analytical approach to your observations and define structured action plans when necessary.
You have experience coordinating projects or change initiatives within a commercial or distribution context, or you can demonstrate the required foundational competencies to further develop project management skills.
