Sales Compensation Supervisor

New York Full time

The Sales Compensation Supervisor will manage a team of Compensation Analysts who administer the compensation plans of Registered Representatives, Financial Advisors, and Brokers.

You will

  • Contributes to projects that are focused on developing and refining the sales compensation strategy of the sales organization through the application of analytics and trend analysis

  • Quickly develop expertise on Guardian field contracts and compensation rules

  • Analyze incentive compensation performance, model earnings for various design scenarios, and provide business insights

  • Collaborate with team members to build cohesive, data-driven stories to describe sales compensation related problems and proposed solutions

  • Implement incentive plans and policies to support sales strategies and work across multiple teams to solve complex problems

  • Provide exceptional customer service to field partners through supportive interactions and knowledge of the company's field roles

  • Much of the work involves providing confidential compensation data to field partners – Guardian Office Managers, Agency Accountants and Investment Specialists

  • Work closely with Guardian Agent Contracting and Licensing (ACL) to ensure that compensation is paid according to the ever changing and varying state license regulations 

  • Provides confidential compensation information to various internal departments such as Legal, Audit and Agency Accounting Services

You have

  • Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge of the brokerage industry

  • Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience

  • Instructions are typically broad, where it is expected that seasoned experience and judgment and autonomy is applied on day-to-day tasks

  • Solves complex problems Represents the level at which career may stabilize for many years or even until retirement

  • Typically has a minimum of 10+ years of experience

  • Quality oral communication skills

  • Very Good PC skills required (Excel, Word)

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

  • Proven ability to work under pressure

Salary Range:

$82,770.00 - $135,975.00

The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
