Sales Business Development Manager

The Sales BDM owns and leads pursuits focused on attracting new Integrated Sales customers supporting the commercial strategies, financial results, and market share ambitions.

Responsibilities

Develop business with large potential to be future programme customers

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through outbound prospecting and networking.

  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads.

  • Coach the product organization on new customer’s needs.

  • Negotiate the global tender to meet or exceed sales targets.

  • Accountable for the implementation and compliance of own opportunities by collaborating with Sales, Product and CX and ensure smooth onboarding of new customers.

Engagement and Relationship Building

  • Drive the engagement and relationship with new customers.

  • Understand the customers needs, pain points, and business challenges.

  • Deliver compelling presentations and product demos tailored to the customers needs.

Pre and Post Sales Responsibilities

  • Ensure that solutions are fully scoped with robust pre- and post-sales engagement and commitment from solutions engineering, pricing and operational teams.

  • Ensure that customers meet committed levels of volume and pro-actively address short-falls.

  • Ensure the smooth transition into key client management or to primary account manager.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of Business development experience

  • Strong expertise in end-to-end supply chain operations and complex logistics solutions

  • Logistics knowledge – including process insights

  • Advanced proficiency in both English and Spanish, with the ability to operate effectively in professional and business environments

  • Strategic insights across functions

  • Negotiation skills

  • Stakeholder management

  • Vertical insights

  • Influencing and persuasive selling skills

  • Numerate, financial and analytical skills

  • Project management skills

  • This position requires the candidate to be located in Colombia
