As a Sales Assistant based in Elgin, you’ll be responsible for:
Providing expert advice to customers by understanding their specific needs and providing product recommendations
Handling customer queries and provide solutions, including sourcing, quoting, and managing special orders
Proactively contacting customers to build relationships and drive branch sales particularly focusing on customers with reduced or inactive spending
Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of product developments, market trends, and industry changes
Coordinating with suppliers to source materials, check availability, and negotiate costs
Completing general warehouse duties in a fast-paced environment which will involve manual handling of heavy items e.g. boilers, sinks, radiators, and toilets
Loading and unloading vehicles for deliveries and collections
This is a Full Time Permanent position working 40 hours a week, Monday to Thursday 08.00am - 5.00pm, Friday 08.00am - 4.00pm and Saturday 08.00am - 12.00pm on a rota basis.
