As Sales and Application Engineer you play a key role in consulting High-Speed engine builders on turbocharging solutions and in successfully placing Accelleron products on new engines. This includes maintaining a close dialogue with assigned engine builder customers to understand their requirements and targets to support them with optimized turbocharging solutions. Do you combine solid engineering skills with a strong customer focus and the ability to deliver solutions tailored to technical and commercial requirements? This is your opportunity!

Your responsibilities:

  • Support engine builders in the further development of their engines and specify turbocharging solutions that meet technical and commercial requirements
  • Participate in engine tests at customer test beds and carry out engine performance simulations to competently consult engine builders on turbocharging related aspects.
  • Cultivate close customer relationships on operational and strategic level. Organize and lead customer meetings
  • Represent the voice of customers in product development projects. Actively participate in the annual product and market strategy process
  • Support product management and order processing team with customer related market intelligence for optimized product lifecycle management and demand forecasting

Your Background:

  • University degree in mechanical engineering ideally with focus on internal combustion engines
  • Sound knowledge of thermodynamics and engine performance
  • Good sales and networking skills
  • A high level of self-motivation, curiosity and desire to learn about new technologies 
  • A collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills 
  • Willingness to travel 
  • Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
  • English language requested

Your compensation:

  • $104,000/yr - $143,000/yr + Bonus
