Job Purpose
To drive the implementation of occupational health, safety, and environmental (EHS) programs in the assigned area, ensuring safe operations through strong field execution, proactive intervention, and direct engagement with operational teams. The role is accountable for enforcing safety standards, influencing behaviours, and fostering a strong safety culture across all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities
Safety Implementation & Operational Control
•
Drive execution of EHS programs and initiatives in the assigned area.
•
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company standards, and procedures through field presence.
•
Intervene on unsafe acts and unsafe conditions, including exercising Stop Work Authority when required.
•
Ensure effective implementation of Permit to Work (PTW) systems for all high-risk activities.
Risk Management & Incident Handling
•
Conduct risk assessments (HIRA / JSA) for operational activities.
•
Lead incident investigations using structured methodologies (5 Why / Root Cause Analysis).
•
Ensure timely and effective closure of corrective and preventive actions.
•
Monitor and analyze safety trends to prevent recurrence of incidents.
Audit, Inspection & Compliance
•
Conduct regular safety inspections and audits across operational areas.
•
Ensure compliance with internal and external EHS standards (including ISO 45001/14001 where applicable).
•
Follow up on audit findings and ensure timely closure.
People Engagement & Coaching
•
Provide direct coaching to operators, contractors, and frontline leaders to improve safety behaviours.
•
Promote safe practices by transforming unsafe behaviours through continuous engagement.
•
Actively influence cross-functional teams without direct authority to ensure safety compliance.
Emergency Preparedness
•
Support and participate in emergency response activities (firefighting, evacuation drills, etc.).
•
Ensure readiness of emergency response systems and team capability.

Internal: Production, Warehouse, Engineering, Quality, CI, HR
•
External: Contractors, Vendors, Regulatory Bodies (if required)
4.
Qualifications & Experience
•
Minimum D4/S1 in Occupational Health & Safety (K3)/Environmental Engineering/Industrial Engineering/Chemical Engineering/ other relevant fields.
•
Minimum 3–5 years in EHS/K3 roles
•
Experience in leading or directing operational teams and/or contractors, coordinating across multiple departments (Production, Warehouse, Engineering), and proven ability in driving field implementation (hands-on execution, not limited to reporting)
•
Certified in Kemnaker’s AK3 Umum (mandatory). ISO 45001/ISO 14001 (Internal/Lead Auditor) & Emergency Response/Fire Fighting (preferred).
