At Pfizer, the Senior Manager, S2P Operations Excellence Lead plays a pivotal role in the Global Business Services Source-to-Pay (S2P) division, contributing to the enhancement of patient lives worldwide. What You Will Achieve

  • Oversee S2P middle office retained internal services including but not limited to: savings form review, supplier risk assessment, vendor audit coordination, contract and pricing updates, and compliance monitoring.
  • Oversee S2P Compliance CoE: will have responsibility for S2P Compliance activities which include support of both Internal and External audits (SOX, Commercial, US GAAP, Statutory, and other Local External Audits.
  • Financial Management & Budget Leadership: Serve as the financial lead for the S2P Operations team, overseeing all aspects of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis including monitoring of Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) financials.
  • Operations Strategic Projects Leadership: Lead, manage, and execute high-impact projects across the S2P operations organization, by owning project’s lifecycle, including developing project plans, setting objectives, allocating resources, and ensuring timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Lead a team of 7-9 colleagues
  • Identify standardization and optimization opportunities across S2P operations (e.g. Sourcing, Contracting, Purchasing, Invoicing, Payments and Service Desk) in coordination with colleagues globally
  • Perform root cause analysis
  • Quantify ROI and support business case development
  • Develop recommendations to improve efficiency, effectiveness and colleague experience of S2P operations
  • Support the execution of standardization and optimization of efforts across regions and hubs
  • Support the development of leadership updates and presentations

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements):

  • BA/BS with at least 7+ years of experience, MBA/MS with at least 6+ years, PhD/JD with at least 1 year.
  • Strong project management skills and expertise in service delivery and process optimization.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, technology solutions, and strategic planning.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to develop innovative solutions.
  • Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.

Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements):

  • 5+ years of experience in an Operations capacity (e.g. Invoice Processing)
  • Experience in Lifesciences or Pharmaceutical space preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing high-performing teams.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to adapt to change and drive initiatives.
  • Experience in talent management, mentoring, and coaching.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience managing budgets.
  • Strategic thinking and alignment of team objectives with organizational goals.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $108,700.00 to $181,100.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
