Job Title: Multidisciplinary RVN

Starting Salary: From £31,000, with progression aligned to your experience, skills, and professional development

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (optional 4 or 5 day week)

Weekends: 1 in 5 weekends (Saturday or Sunday only), paid as overtime

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join our multidisciplinary specialist referral hospital, where clinical excellence, collaboration, and nurse-led development are at the heart of everything we do.

About the Role

As a Multidisciplinary RVN, you will work within a specialist referral hospital offering a broad range of advanced services. You will be part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team with access to and exposure to our specialist areas, including:

  • Orthopaedics

  • Soft Tissue Surgery

  • Dermatology

  • Neurology & Neurosurgery

  • Oncology

  • Internal Medicine

  • Advanced Diagnostic Imaging (CT & MRI)

  • A dedicated Specialist Anaesthesia Team

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional inpatient, perioperative, and critical nursing care across all services

  • Assist with complex diagnostics, procedures and advanced imaging

  • Support anaesthesia and analgesia under a specialist anaesthesia team

  • Advocate for patient welfare and gold-standard care always

  • Mentor student nurses and junior team members as you grow and develop in your role

  • Engage in continuous learning, CPD, and departmental development

About You

  • RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse

  • Enthusiastic about working in a specialist referral environment

  • Adaptable, curious, and keen to learn across multiple disciplines

  • Confident communicator with a strong team ethos

  • Passionate about evidence based nursing and patient advocacy

  • Previous referral or advanced practice experience welcomed, but not essential
