Job Profile:  Maintenance Caretaker – BG01

Wage: $20.00 per hour    

This position is considered- PART - TIME      

PART-TIME is considered 20-25 hours per week.

             

Rehire Eligibility: Must not have worked for Tyson more than 3X, 180 days minimum rehire waiting period.     

                                                   

Must not own, possess, or otherwise maintain any domestic, wild or exotic fowl to be considered. (No yard chickens, inside birds like parakeets, parrots, any avian species with feathers. ect.)

Must be willing to sign an agreement to avoid any avian species (chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, etc). 

Job Description / Summary:  Position holder will work in a live production research facility to maintain various parts of the production and research process as a farm worker laborer.

Requirements-

Must have 6 months consecutive work history with one employer listed in application.

Education: High School or GED diploma required; prefer local college student enrolled in an Agricultural / Poultry related background.

Ability to lift 50+ pounds; work in a wet/dusty environment with external weather conditions; bending, stooping, heavy lifting, walking, grabbing, twisting, shoveling.

Communication Skills:  Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Computer Skills:  Basic computer skills

Skills:  Motivated self-starter who has the desire to learn from others; ability to work independently and/or as part of a team; strong problem-solving skills; time management and multitasking abilities; and strong interpersonal skills. 

Location:  On-site work at the Russellville Research Farm

Work Schedule will vary, must have a flexible work schedule.

The company’s Poultry Biosecurity and Animal Welfare Policies must be followed at all times, an Animal Welfare background check will be required.
