RST - IT Monitoring

Job Description:

The IT monitoring allows to anticipate the failures and to avoid the breakdowns. The purpose is to measure exactly the activities of your system and to determine tolerance thresholds not to exceed.

The goal of our business among others is to allow an early reaction through alerting systems and, in the best case, be able to act pro-actively. In this approach, the technical infrastructure is seen as the support of the business activity. It is essential to bring professional and technical stakeholders together around the table, some of them providing their knowledge of the business process, the others providing the sources to be used to calculate the selected indicators.

Main Activity: Dealing, resolving incident or re-routing to any other level, one single point of contact by phone, they are the first line in front of client.

RST team operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Roles & Responsibilities

All incidents are assigned to this team first, they then race against time to resolve the incident as soon as they can, up to RST to contact, if necessary the right upper skilled team for resolving

this incident (technical or management escalation).

RST also in charge to activate the Major Incident Management for Critical & Strategic application or infrastructure.

RST team deals with different activities:

  • Incident management.
  • Processing of customer requests.
  • Active Directory Management User.
  • Access management requests in datacenter.
  • Datacenter touch labor.
  • Monthly Wintel security patching.
  • Creating Windows VM.
  • Basic activity on UNIX
  • During the weekend RST is Changes implementers for most of Business Changes.
  • Contributes to change coordination.
